In the beginning of this class I had past knowledge on digital and film photograph so it helped that I was experienced. Although I knew my cameras functions, I learned even more about how to change different things in the settings. I did learn more about how to properly use he camera even with my past knowledge so this class has helped me a lot. Here are a few photos from the beginning of the class vs the end. From the photos above vs the photos below show how much of a difference this class has made on my photography skills. I've now learned how to be more creative while taking pictures and capturing the beauty of the site/ subject. I've learned more compositions and how to get the perfect lighting in different areas as well. As a result I really enjoyed taking this class and hope to take more in the future. I also hope to continue taking photos throughout high school. One of my favorite parts of this class was photoshop. I really enjoyed working with photoshop and learning the basics. I liked how I can take an ordinary picture I took and turn it into something neat and interesting. Here are some pictures of the photoshop assignments I did.

For this assignment we had to take pictures of an event. we had to capture the emotions during the event to help understand what it is. f/5.6 1/60 ISO 00 After this assignment I learned how to capture emotions and to get the excitement during the event.
For this assignment we has to think of a word and photoshop things that go along with that word. The photo should be creative and color, clearly showing what the word is. After this I learned more on how to use gradients, and more on the tools for text. I also got to practice more on adding images and using the layers.
For this assignment we had to think of some puns we thought would be funny and photoshop them into a photo, so people could guess what the pun is. After this assignment I learned more on how to add images into a canvas, and how to use my creativity when coming up with puns and making them starting from a white canvas.
For still life you have to make an object/ subject look purposefully arranged in a way an advertisement/ commercial would. I tried to make the shoe in focus so that it would bring the attention straight to the shoe. f/3.2 1/125 ISO 400 After this assignment I learned how to arrange a subject/object to make it look like an advertisement.
For this assignment, we used studio lights and a white screen in the back. We had to adjust the lighting, learn how to make canvas's behind the photos, and use sunlight to make a natural and soft look to the subject. After this assignment I learned how to adjust lighting, both natural and studio, and how to take a nice portrait.
For this assignment I chose to do nature. I tried to create the lines in the road leading eyes to the trees and the end of the road. The objective is to create a photo that has a landscape look/ nature feel. f/5.6 1/40 ISO 640 As a result I learned how to capture the beauty of nature and the colors. I also learned how to adjust my aperture according to the sun shining through the trees.
For this we got more in detail with photoshop. We had to take multiple pictures of a person/ object and combine it all together to make it look like it has the same person all in one picture. As a result, I learned how to combine photos, reveal and conceal, and using new tools in photoshop.
For photo assignment 4, I did portrait. To take a portrait you have to have a subject and a background of some sort. I tried to make the face pop out and fill most of the frame so it focuses more on the subject/person. f/ 5.6 1/500 ISO 100 After this assignment I learned how to make the background more blurry to bring the focus on the subject and to adjust the aperture. I tried to make the photos bright and colorful by putting them in natural lighting which made me adjust my iso and shutter speed.
For this assignment we took pictures of an area we thought would look good as a panorama. I took pictures of an area so they would over lap and I could join them together to create a long photo to see the whole area. As a final result I learned how to layer photos from the same area to give a wider affect on the photo.
